Jeff Cacciatore
Coach - Soccer
Jeff is in his 28th year at Whitfield and has been the head varsity girls soccer coach since the program’s inception in 1997. Under his leadership, the Warriors have won several district championships and MWAA division titles.
In addition to his contributions with the girls soccer program, Jeff is a longtime assistant coach in our boys soccer program. Coaching alongside fellow Whitfield Athletic Hall of Famer Bill Daues, Jeff was on the staff of the Warriors state championship boys soccer teams in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2007, 2009 and 2010. Jeff is a member of the St. Louis Soccer Hall of Fame and SIUE Athletic Hall of Fame.
Jeff played collegiate soccer at SIUE and was a member of the Cougar's 1979 NCAA Division I national championship team. After graduating from SIUE, he played one season for the Ft. Lauderdale Strikers and reached the North American Soccer League (NASL) championship match in 1980. Jeff returned to St. Louis and played the next six seasons with the St. Louis Steamers. During his Steamers' career, the team advanced twice to the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) championship match and Cacciatore was named team MVP for the 1982-83 season.
